DLCC Names Del. Mike Mullin’s Campaign a Race to Watch in 2021
Newport News – On Tuesday, the Mike Mullin for Virginia campaign for Virginia’s 93rd seat in the House of Delegates was named to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee’s (DLCC) list of must-watch races for 2021. The DLCC selects critical races with strong candidates from across the country to highlight on its Spotlight Races page in an effort to raise awareness and resources for candidates like Delegate Mullin.
“Democratic state legislators are on the frontlines defending and expanding our access to health care, education funding, and the right to vote,” said DLCC President Jessica Post. “In the last four years, the DLCC and state Democrats have flipped hundreds of seats from red to blue, elected strong candidates from all across the country, and returned over half a dozen chambers to Democratic control. We are proud to stand with Mike Mullin and include him in our growing list of amazing candidates who are committed to making a difference in their communities. The DLCC is fired up and ready to win more seats like the 93rd throughout the year and in November.”

I have worked hard over the past four years to run and represent the 93rd District to the best of my ability and I plan to continue doing so this year. We have a unique opportunity in Virginia to hold our majority so we can continue to fight for progressive causes to improve the lives of all Virginians. If I am honored enough to be re-elect and sent back to Richmond in the fall, I will continue to advocate and fight for my constituents.”
